Pre-Order Policy

Some of our products are available for pre-order. Here's exactly how it works:

🛍️ What is a pre-order?

Pre-order means you're reserving a unit from our upcoming production batch. Your card is charged at the time of order, and the product ships when our US warehouse receives stock.

📅 Estimated ship dates

  • Every pre-order product shows the estimated ship date on its page
  • We're transparent — typically 14-21 days from order date
  • If we hit unexpected delays, we'll email you with the new date
  • If the delay is more than 30 days from original estimate, you get a full automatic refund (FTC Mail Order Rule compliance)

💳 When am I charged?

Your payment method is charged at checkout, not when shipped. This funds the production batch.

❓ Why pre-order?

Pre-ordering helps us:

  • Produce in small batches → higher quality control
  • Avoid overstocking → lower prices for you
  • Ship from US warehouse → no overseas surprise delays

🔄 Can I cancel a pre-order?

Yes — full refund anytime before your order ships. Email hello@purrlens.com.

📧 Updates

You'll receive emails at:

  • Day 0: Order confirmation
  • Day 7: "Production update"
  • Day 14: "Almost there"
  • Day 18-21: "Shipping today!" + tracking
